Pelley the lone positive for Devils tonight!!! (Prudential Center looking like a Funeral Home for the Devils?)

There is nothing exciting about the Devils 6-1 loss to the Sabres tonight. However, winger Rod Pelley had an adventure. He took a shot to the nose from his teammate Jason Arnott which deflected of a Sabres defenseman, got up on his own skated to the medical trainer, and went into the locker room. Then, he was taken to hospital for X-Rays, which came back negative on his orbital bone, but revealed a broken nose. He then returned to the arena just in time for period three. Pelley did not know what the score was, but he just wanted to get back on the ice and finish the game.

That just shows you guts and determination. For a player that is not know for his offensive skills, but rather an edgy game style, he has the courage to come back to a game with a broken nose after even making a trip to the hospital. Devils fans should learn to love Rod Pelley and I think he will score timely goals for the team. For now, the Devils are trending backwards to the season, so they better go on a tear quickly and eventually start winning games in their building, which for now has been like a Funeral Home for the team.
