Devils wating for league approval on roster

From now on it appears as if the Devils will er on the side of caution and announce moves after the league approves them to avoid all the mess that happened as a result of the Ilya Kovalchuk contract rejection. The Devils have submitted a roster to the league, presumably the 20 man roster and placed defensemen Bryce Salvador and Anssi Salmela on LTIR. Now they will wait for their approval before announcing the moves, which should not take very long. So, expect an announcement very soon. It appears they will go with 11 forwards, 7 defensemen and the 2 goaltenders on Friday.
