Brodeur, Rolston back in Devils line-up in must win game tonight vs Oilers, Langenbrunner out

Martin Brodeur will be back in goal tonight against the Edmonton Oilers at Prudential Center and Brian Rolston will also return to the Devils line-up. Johan Hedberg will return to the backup role. Rolston has not played since October 9th against Washington after suffering a sports hernia or groin injury against Washington. However, team captain Jamie Langenbrunner will sit this one out with a small upper body injury, so the there will be three alternate captains tonight with Elias, Kovalchuk and either White or Arnott.

The Devils cannot overlook this Edmonton team as the Oilers have had the Devils number in the last two years and have won the last time they visited "The Rock." The question still remains, will tonight finally be the night the Devils win their first home game of the season, or will their hole keep getting bigger and bigger and deeper? Ilya Kovalchuk is hoping to put Wednesday's failed shootout attempt behind him and the Devils are hoping to put the lowest points of the season so far aside. It is safe to say, the Devils cannot afford to lose another game for the month of November and must start some kind of win streak. Tonight is a must win for the Devils, because it simply cannot get any worse as it did in the end of Wednesday's debacle.
