Price, Gionta, Ryan Miller shine in night 2 of NHL Playoffs

Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens finally redeemed himself in the playoffs by shutting out the heavily favored Boston Bruins 2-0 in Game 1 of their playoff series. Price made 31 saves to out duel his dominant nemesis Tim Thomas. Brian Gionta had both goals for the Habs and Gomez had two assists after a disappointing regular season.

Ryan Miller of Buffalo made 35 saves in a 1-0 shutout win over another East powerhouse the Philadelphia Flyers. Patrick Kaleta had the Sabres goal. Looks like we are in for some long series in Round 1.
